Working Smarter, Not Harder

Modern irrigation control technology on a farm

Farming is demanding work in a highly competitive market driven by supply and demand. Growing the right crop at the right time is challenging enough without equipment holding you back.

Often, the difference between you and your neighbor’s crop comes down to equipment that delivers improved efficiency, dependability, and time savings. In farming, time equals money : so investing in efficient equipment isn’t optional.

Why Irrigation Setup Matters

Irrigation can be frustrating and time-consuming when not properly matched to your farm’s terrain and operation. That’s why it’s crucial to partner with a company that offers cutting-edge equipment at the right price.

With over 40 years of industry experience, Australian Pivot Solutions offers Australian primary producers a comprehensive range of equipment suited to many agricultural irrigation applications. We specialise in two excellent brands of Italian-made quality hard hose reel irrigation systems : Irtec and RM.

Hard hose travelling irrigators are widely used across diverse applications :

lucerne

vegetables

turf farms

parks, gardens, and sporting fields

Our poly reel irrigators can be configured with boom spray instead of gun spray where low-pressure, gentle crop watering is required.

Hard Hose vs Soft Hose: The Reality

At Australian Pivot Solutions, we often supply hard hose irrigator systems to producers who’ve used soft hose for years. The time difference is significant.

Soft hose process once the run completes, you must wind up the hose, move the irrigator to the new run, unwind the hose behind the machine, then run the pull cable the full irrigation length and secure it to a tractor.

Hard hose process once the run completes, the hose is already wound onto the reel and the irrigator is ready to move to the next water source. This often cuts setup time in half.

Turf farmers particularly prefer hard hose because soft hose damages new turf through the dragging motion behind the irrigator.

While the initial investment in a hard hose system is typically higher than soft hose, the resale value remains very strong, making it a sound long-term investment.

Why Choose Australian Pivot Solutions

Selecting the right travelling irrigator is an important decision. When you partner with Australian Pivot Solutions, you’re dealing with a farming-based generational family business who own and operate hard hose irrigators on their own lucerne-growing properties.

We understand the extreme demands of farming and the need for efficiency and effectiveness to survive in the marketplace. Smarter operating provides you with better outcomes and greener crops.
